Johnson & Wood is an Independent Insurance Agency established over 50 years ago in North San Diego County. As an Independent Insurance Agency we own our business. We are NOT employees of an insurance company like some of our competitiors. This allows us to represent the needs of our prospects and customers to the many different insurance companies we have agreements with. Companies like Travelers, Hartford, Zenith, Chubb, Kemper, Safeco, and others. This gives us a wide range of coverage and pricing options for a great variety of customers and prospects.

We currently have 19 employees that function within 3 primary groups; a Business Insurance Team, a Family Insurance Team, and a Group Benefits, Life and Long Term Care Insurance Team.  Our Business Insurance Team provides all types of commercial insurance products, including Property and Liability, Commercial Auto, Workers Compensation, Directors and Officers, Errors and Omissions Liability, Cyber Liability, Data Breach coverage, and Employment Practices Liability Insurance to all types of businesses. We can handle manufacturing risks to retail stores, and restaurants to warehousers and distributers.

Our Family Insurance Team offers excellent products for Home, Auto, RV, Boat, Motorcycle, Snowmobile, and Umbrella coverages. And we can satisfy the needs of businesses and families with products for medical and life insurance and more related products in this area.
